The village of Ayn Halakim

This month, the money collected by Coup de Pouce will go once again to the aid of the inhabitants of Ayn Halakim, a village situated to the west of Hama.
In fact, it was in 2014 that Coup de Pouce first helped fifteen of the most needy families in this area.
Today, according to the village priest with whom Coup de Pouce is in contact, a Hepatitis B epidemic is rampant and 170 people have contracted this disease. In the first instance, it will be about coming to the aid of 80 people who have been ill for some time and who need urgent support, particularly in relation to nourishment.
Due to the urgency involved, Coup de Pouce has decided to offer CHF3000 for immediate aid which will cover approximately half of the costs incurred for the purchase of tests and medicines, calculated at CHF60 per person.
Outcome
As a result of your donations totalling CHF3000, Coup de Pouce has been able to bring immediate aid to approximately 50 of the inhabitants of the village of Ayn Halakim by giving them the equivalent of this amount to pay for medical expenses.
