The family of Nisreen
The two sisters Nisreen and Lama married two brothers.
The two of them lived with their families in Homs. In October last year, Coup de Pouce sent aid to Lama's family who had to flee Homs due to the hostilities in order to find refuge in Hama. Here they endeavoured to survive, albeit under very trying conditions.
Nisreen's family, comprising four daughters Duaa, Hanan, Maya and Alaa and three sons Mohamed, Casim and Yamen, also moved to Hama. Currently, the two sisters live together in a room which they are renting. Their families live under very precarious conditions because they have great difficulty keeping warm and finding enough food. In addition, Nisreen's oldest son Mohamed was injured in a hit-and-run accident and was hospitalised with an almost severed hand. He was treated in emergency but his condition requires follow-up medical care and rehabilitation.
Aid from Coup de Pouce, together with that given last October, will allow the families of Lama and Nisreen to meet their most urgent expenses.
As a result of your donations totalling CHF1,000 collected by Coup de Pouce in January, Nisreen's family has now received the equivalent of this amount. This aid from Coup de Pouce will enable Nisreen to obtain medical care for Mohamed and meet the family's most urgent expenses.
