The family of Mouhammad Al Badawi and Kadijeh Zreik
The first family we propose that you assist in June comprises Mouhammad Al Badawi born in 1982, his wife Kadijeh Zreik born in 1992, along with their five children: Abed Al Karim born in 2010, Kousai born in 2012, Raeed born in 2014, Ginaa born in 2017 and Mouhammad born in 2021.
The father was a labourer earning a small wage. While his wife was pregnant, the father left the family home and there has been no further news of him. The family now lives in a rented premises next to the Hama national hospital. Kadijeh, the mother, works as a dressmaker and also as a cleaner in the buildings. Her mother who lives with her suffers from a renal problem as well as diabetes and needs a wheelchair to move around.
Aid from Coup de Pouce would go towards school fees for the children, the purchase of medicines and the payment of rent for their accommodation.
The family of Saeed Al Fayad and Thuraya Berakdar
The second family that Coup de Pouce is suggesting you aid comprises Saeed Al Fayad, the father, born in 1985, and his wife Thuraya Berakdar, born in 1982, along with their two children, Fadi born in 2017 and Sara born in 2021.
Before the birth of the children, Saeed and Thuraya were living in Daraya, a large suburb in the south west of Damascus. This zone was where violent confrontations occurred that continued until 2016 and ended with the complete devastation of buildings and the evacuation of the inhabitants. At the time of these events, Saeed and Thuraya were relocated towards Jdeidet al-Wadi.
Saeed, the father, is a builder's labourer but his wages are not enough to cover expenses, leading to late rental payments. In addition, Thuraya, the mother who is a housewife, suffers from a nervous condition and requires medicine, notably vitamins and anti-inflammatories.
In this case also, aid from Coup de Pouce would be a big help in meeting daily expenses and enablng the purchase of medicines.
