Mohamed Marwan and Lamyaa Dada
Mohamed Marwan and his wife Lamyaa Dada have three children - the oldest Mohamed Nour, then Alaa, 24, and the youngest Jawad who is 16.
In 2012 the family was living in their home in Yalda in the suburb of Damascus. When fighting broke out in the area, Mohamed and his family had to leave their home to go to Tadamon, another suburb of Damascus, where they found rental accommodation. In that same year, Mohamed Nour disappeared while doing his military service. Since then, the family has had no news of him.
Currently Alaa is studying at university, while his brother Jawad is in secondary school. The father, who was previously employed in renting accommodation, is retired but is working as a travelling salesman in order to make ends meet. He suffers from back pain and requires medical care.
Aid from Coup de Pouce would give this family help to meet the higher price rises generally, as well as higher rents for accommodation.
