Issa Kamal and Randa Naamey

Issa Kamal and his wife Randa Naamey had been living in a house in Erbin since 1992.
They had three girls - the eldest Katrin, born in 1988, Kinda, born in 1991 and Karla, the youngest, born in 2002. They also had a boy, Khalil, born in 1995. The father, Issa, worked as a painter and decorator in the building industry.
When the hostilities reached Erbin in 2012, their family home was destroyed, along with all its contents. Following this, Issa, Randa and their children had to move to Jaramana near Damascus where they rented accommodation. In 2015 Khalil was killed by a bomb explosion.
Today, Katrin and Kinda are married and Karla is preparing for her baccalauréat. The father, Issa, has found work again doing the same job as before but he suffers from a kidney illness. The family can barely make ends meet due to the ever-increasing exhorbitant rent they have to pay for their
accommodation, despite having moved many times. In fact, over a period of a few years, the rent has increased from 15,000 to 50,000 Syrian pounds which takes nearly two thirds of Issa’s wages.
In these circumstances, aid from Coup de Pouce will be an enormous help to Issa and Randa’s family and enable them to meet their most urgent needs.
