Salim al Soudani and Amal al Jariane
In March, Coup de Pouce is proposing that you aid a family which comprises Amal and her husband Salim, born in 1976 and 1972, and their four children - Amar 19, Rashad 17, Kousai 12 and Yousef aged 10.
The parents, Amal and Salim, were living with their four children in Fouerane, an area to the south of Hassaké. They both worked as teachers in this locality.
In 2012, this region in the north east of Syria suffered violent confrontations and the family was forced to relocate to Hassaké, their home having been totally destroyed.
Currently, the parents are continuing to work as teachers. Half of their earnings is absorbed by rent for their accommodation and they are having trouble finding the necessary means to enable Kousai to receive treatment as he suffers from partial vision and vitiligo as a result of trauma and fear inflicted by the war.
Aid from Coup de Pouce would be welcome so that the treatment could be resumed for Kousai which would allow him to continue normal studies.
