The family of Georges Abed Ahad and Marcelle Taidrosse

The family that Coup de Pouce is proposing you support in November is composed of Georges Abed, born in 1976, and Marcelle, born in 1981, who are the parents of Jean-Claude, born in 2008, Junior, born in 2012, and Jenevar, the youngest, born in 2013.
Until 2013 when the hostilities erupted in the north east region of Syria, the family lived in Tell Tamer and were enjoying a good life. Georges, the father, worked as a painter in the building industry. Between 2013 and 2016, the situation in the region significantly deteriorated. Numerous confrontations and extorsions against the civil population occurred, particularly around the small communities in the Khabur valley. As a result of this, in 2016 the family of Georges and Marcelle felt obliged to leave Tell Tamer and seek refuge in Hassaké.
In this town, work was scarce and the parents struggled to make ends meet. Currently Georges is working in the security field, while Marcelle has found work as a cleaner in the offices of the Health Ministry. While the two older children, Jean-Claude and Junior, are continuing their studies, Jenevar has been suffering from a tendon insufficiency since the age of one which restricts her mobility. She has been operated on in Damascus and needs care to recover and keep her mobility.
Aid from Coup de Pouce will enable Jenevar to receive the treatment and care she needs and contribute towards the costs of her operation at the beginning of the year.
