Mahmoud Al-Kamel lived with his wife and four daughters in the town of Ma'arat Al-Numan in the Idleb region. His job as a labourer enabled him to provide for his family.
Several months ago, Mahmoud was killed in a bombing raid and his home was completely destroyed. Left alone, his family was forced to flee, moving around and sheltering where they could in mosques or neighbouring schools in order to escape the daily bombings.
Having lost her husband and the father of her children, who was the sole provider for the family, the wife of Mahmoud and her four daughters are now utterly.
Idleb is a region which has been extremely affected by these shellings. A lot of people have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, but many of them have been forced into the interior of their own country where there is a critical lack of humanitarian aid.
